From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink, setting the tone for a delightful stay. the staff, particularly Jennifer, Juliet, and the other attentive young ladies, epitomized hospitality and were always ready to assist, adding a personal touch to our experience. The picturesque château, with its medieval charm and beautiful grounds, provided a tranquil retreat. the pet-friendly amenities made it even more welcoming, and our furry companion felt right at home. Exploring the area was made easy with the tours and ticket assistance offered, allowing us to indulge in hiking and immerse ourselves in the scenic surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant at Château de La Barge. Serving up delectable Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, dining on the terrace was a true gastronomic delight. the seasonal outdoor swimming pool added a touch of luxury, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby Commanderie Golf Course or Bourg-en-Bresse. In the mornings, we indulged in the buffet breakfast, featuring fresh and quality options that surpassed the offerings of many other 5-star hotels. the warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel, coupled with the friendly staff and even a friendly stray cat who loved ham from the breakfast buffet, made our stay truly unforgettable.
